Abersoch 10k Race

At the beginning of June Medic 1 staff worked at the second Abersoch 10k Race. After an overcast start the sun made an appearance just before the first racer crossed the line. With last year's winner, Nick Swinburn, remaining true to form and covering the 10k in a smashing time of 33 mins and 21 seconds the enormous crowd of around 400 people had a thrilling and exciting race to watch. The children running the 1k and 2k races put many adults to shame as they fresh-facedly bounded across the finish line. Some competitors amazed the crowd by using the 3k run as a warm up for the 10k run!

It was fantastic seeing how this event has grown from last year and Medic 1 looks forward to continuing to work with the Abersoch 10k race team to ensure successful events in the future.
