The Powerplay Golf. Ignition

The May Bank Holiday saw Medic 1 back at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport. Of course this brought back wonderful memories of the Ryder Cup 2010.  However this time we were there for a new challenge, The Powerplay Golf: Ignition, sponsored by Saab Great Britain Ltd.

PowerPlay Golf is a short form of the game, it is played over nine holes, with two flags on every green, golfers use a limited number of‘PowerPlays’ to score extra points when aiming at the harder Black Flag, creating exciting risk-and-reward decisions on each tee.

This started our week long stay at Celtic Manor as we were also there to provide medical cover to the Wales Open – again sponsored by Saab.

As ever everyone was treated to a week of amazing golf, played on the 2010 course.

In the last few years Medic 1 has staffed a number of events held at the Celtic Manor and we have had the opportunity not only to get to watch some fantastic golf but also to get to know some of the staff and also the regular audience attendees, to whom we would just like to publicly thank for their typically warm welcome and hard work.  We all look forward to working with you again soon!
