We all want good mental health
World Mental Health Day – October 10th 2011
This should been seen as a positive reminder to value and promote good mental health.
Unless we are experiencing mental health difficulties or close to someone who is, most of us do not think about the effects that mental illnesses can have on the lives of sufferers or their friends and families.
Many of us have however been aware or indeed been guilty of negative thoughts or behaviour towards people who are experiencing mental health disorders.
Medic 1 has staff who are experienced in caring for people who have both acute and chronic mental health conditions.
Training
We are also able to provide training to assist carers and friends to recognise when people require, more help than they may be able to provide.
FIRST AID FOR MENTAL HEALTH
This is a course that will enable you to have an understanding of some of the most common mental health disorders.

Prevent the condition worsening
Promote recovery
