Medic 1 has had a frantic few weeks covering not one, not two, but three different golfing events!
From the Barclays Scottish Open which saw spectacular plays despite some fairly dismal weather (some might say “a typical British summer”!) to the Seniors Open in Carnoustie, where our staff eagerly followed tense games that went right down to the wire. July rounded off with an outstanding performance by some of the world’s best players at the Ricoh Women’s Open in Southport.
Medic 1 always enjoys providing excellent first aid and event medical cover for this series of golfing events - our staff are familiar with the courses and many are itching to try their hand at a round or two by the time the events are finished!
Prestigious golfing events such as these are fantastic to work - Medic 1 staff work closely with the resorts, security and other emergency services to ensure that the many thousands of spectators, and all those involved in the events themselves, have a thoroughly enjoyable time.
Whilst Medic 1 covers a range of events - from festivals to music performances and gigs to sports events - we are always thrilled to work on the Open Championship for the lively atmosphere, beautiful courses and scenery and energetic plays.
