At this level it is advisable that students have some experience of the subject matter. Comprising of theoretical and practical units, some home study will be required. All students will be continuously assessed and guided throughout the course and must successfully undertake formal assessments to achieve certification
First Person on Scene Intermediate is a five day course that will give you the skills and knowledge to deal with an emergency. More specifically it will teach you how to rapidly assess, stabilise and transfer victims of either trauma or medical related emergencies.
Our course is designed to provide students with increased knowledge and skills int he assessment and management of medical and trauma emergencies in the pre-hospital care environment using techniques and equipment which are beyond the scope of first aid.
This course has been designed for Medics, ranging from first aiders to doctors. Oxygen administration is an essential skill for any medic to know. The Medic 1 instructor will familiarise you with all the relevant equipment and teach you how to use it in an emergency setting.
