Excellent - Medic1 literally rescued me from Sheffield after I seriously injured my knee. NHS Ambulances were fully committed for several hours with life-threatening cases and I knew from past experience that the injury would need urgent surgery. From contacting Medic1 at just after 13:00 they were able to dispatch a crew, collect me from Sheffield at 18:00 and have me at a local hospital in N Wales before 23:00 where I received surgery the following morning at 0930. …
