Accessibility statement

Medic 1 wants medic1.co.uk to be usable by as many people as possible. This statement covers the public website. It is not a claim that every page already meets every success criterion.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site is built with HTML, and we are working through contrast, text alternatives for images, and keyboard access.

Known limits

Some older photographs may still have a short description rather than a full account of the scene. Third-party content, including the Care Quality Commission widget, Google reCAPTCHA, Google Maps and Stripe Checkout, is provided by those organisations and may not meet the same standard.
