Terms of booking and payment

These terms cover bookings and payments made through medic1.co.uk with Medic 1 Direct Ltd, company number 07249199, registered in England and Wales. The registered office is Parc Bryn Cefni, Llangefni, Anglesey, Wales, LL77 7JA. They need to be reviewed by Medic 1 before they are treated as the final customer terms. They do not apply to emergency calls. In an emergency, call 999.
Private ambulance transport
The online price is for the planned journey you describe. It is shown before you pay. You need to confirm that the journey is not an emergency, and that you understand the waiting-time charge, before a price is requested.
The first hour of waiting is included. After that, waiting is charged at £65 per hour.
Payment is taken by Stripe Checkout. The booking is confirmed when payment is complete. The vehicle and crew are matched to the details you give us. If those details change, the price and the crew may need to change.
Training
Course dates, venue and price are shown on the training page and come from the course record, not from a fixed sentence on the page. Prices are shown before you pay. VAT is added where the course price says so.
You pay on Stripe Checkout. You must accept these terms before you continue to payment.
Cancellation and the 14-day period
If you are a consumer and a statutory 14-day cancellation right applies to a distance contract, contact contact@medic1.co.uk within 14 days of booking and we will honour it. Some bookings are for passenger transport, or for a service on a specific date, and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 can limit or remove that cooling-off right. We will tell you before you pay when a statutory cancellation right does not apply, once Medic 1 has confirmed the wording for each service.
A shorter cancellation window, and any charge for cancelling after that, are not stated here until Medic 1 confirms them. Call 01248 848337 or email contact@medic1.co.uk and we will tell you the position for your booking.
Event medical cover is quoted from the booking form rather than paid on this website. The quote you receive is the place those cancellation terms will be set out.
